How does it work – what are the next steps?
It’s simple: Send me a short message via the contact field or directly by email at info@stephankrain.com—no obligation. We’ll have a quick personal (video)chat, you’ll tell me about yourselves, your story, and your wishes. If it feels right, I’ll reserve your slot and soon your personal wedding song will be yours.
How long does production take?
Depending on the package, the song is ready in 2–3 months. If you need it faster, I also offer express options (“Cupid’s Arrow”). The earlier you get in touch, the better.
How long until we hold everyting in our hands?
Your song will be finished by the agreed deadline. If you choose extras like CDs, vinyl or the wooden gift box, delivery times depend on my partners. Since each package is truly unique, I’ll give you exact dates about yours during our chat.
Can we provide input during the process?
Absolutely! It can’t be without you—your wedding song comes from your story, memories and taste. In a personal video call or meeting we’ll explore your musical preferences: style, instruments, lyric ideas or favorite songs for inspiration.
During that process I also explain songwriting techniques to show you what would work best for you. And I keep you regularly updated. That way, your stories, feelings and images turn into the song you’ve always wanted.
What if we don’t know what to say/share?
You’re in excellent hands! I’m highly sensitive and empathetic, and combine this skill with my experience as a journalist. Having conducted many interviews I’ve learned how to ask the right questions in a comfortable atmosphere to get all the answers I need to create the perfect result for you.
Will you perform live at our wedding?
Only in very rare, exclusive cases—and then it’s really special. My focus is entirely on creating your unique song—not live performance. If you still want me to perform, it’s possible, but only under exclusive conditions and budget. Let me know—and if it works for both sides, we can arrange that personally.
Can we use the song later (e.g., as video soundtrack)?
Absolutely! The song belongs to you for private use—whether as soundtrack for your wedding video, a surprise at the reception, or your daily companion. If you plan something special with it, just let me know.
We’re getting married soon—is that too short notice?
Maybe not! Sometimes I still have slots available—and with express options “Cupid’s Arrow” and “Cupid’s Double Arrow” I can even accommodate short‑notice requests. Just write me a short message and we’ll find a solution.
We're not the couple: Can we gift the song?
Definitely—a personalized song is an unforgettable wedding gift! I’ll gladly help you make the surprise perfect—including packaging or handwritten lyrics if you want.
Will we receive our wedding song on CD or USB?
